How to Remove Sweat Stains With Aspirin

Hard days at work and sweaty commutes home ruining your white shirts? Run over to your medicine cabinet and use your everyday painkillers for fast stain removal.

Edit Steps

  1. Crush the aspirin pill. Pour the crushed pill into 100 ml/3.3 fl oz of warm water.

    • Crushing the pill is simple. If you have a mortar and pestle, crush it using this. If not, simply place the pill inside a sealed plastic bag and roll over with a rolling pin or bash with the handle of a utensil until crushed.

  2. Wait for the crushed particles to dissolve.

  3. Soak the stained part into the solution for 2 to 3 hours. The waiting time is essential for the solution to do its cleaning work. Place the garment in the wash as usual.

  4. Check to see if the stain has been removed. If it has, fold and put away. If not, consider repeating and then washing again.
