Saag Paneer is a popular mild vegetarian dish made of Indian cheese and spinach, simmered gently in spices. It is a delicious addition to any Indian dinner and doesn't take long to make.

- 10 oz chopped spinach (or frozen leaf spinach, thaw first and chop)
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup Masala
- 1 cup paneer, cubed and fried
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garam masala

- Blend the water and the spinach together in a blender.
- Heat the spinach, precooked masala, paneer, and salt together in a saucepan. Cover it and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to medium low and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Add the garam masala and stir a few times. Serve warm.
- It's now ready to serve. Serve with rice or dhal and a curry.
- If used as a vegetarian meal, serve more of it, with rice.
